Mary Villagrana obtained her first bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University, majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in Marriage, Family and Human Development. She went on to study Nursing at UVU and obtained her Bachelor's of Nursing from the University of Utah. She worked as an RN in the Neuro Shock Trauma ICU at Utah Valley Hospital for 8 years, where she became trauma certified. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals in 2020. Since then she has been working as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She found her passion helping her patients feel healthy again, integrating traditional and alternative therapies.
She is a native Spanish speaker and met her husband in Mexico. They have been married for 20 years and have 7 children, one with Down’s Syndrome. For fun Mary coaches her kids recreational volleyball and basketball teams. In her free time she plays basketball and is an avid reader
